How to use titanium clad copper?
1. Titanium has poor electrical conductivity. Generally, the electric current of the hook outside the water is not greater than 0.26A/CM2. Otherwise, the hook body will heat up, causing the temperature of the plating solution to increase, the cooling capacity to increase, a waste of electric energy, and even the plastic will be burned due to heat. When the titanium basket hook is found to be obviously hot in the tank body, the number of titanium baskets can be increased or the cross-sectional size of the titanium basket hook can be increased to improve the conductivity of the titanium basket.
2. The titanium blue hook and the electrode generally do not contact with a flat or round surface. This method can easily cause poor contact and cause spot corrosion on the electrode.
3. The mouth of the titanium basket should be slightly higher than the liquid level to prevent the anode slag from flowing out.
4. The lower end of the titanium basket should be 100-150mm higher than the parts to avoid excessive concentration of current in the lower parts and causing burning.
5. The titanium basket and the anode should be in close contact, otherwise the anode potential on the titanium basket will rise sharply, causing oxygen and chlorine evolution reactions to occur on the surface of the titanium blue, causing damage to the titanium blue and oxidation of the additives.
6. In order to prevent burrs from forming on the plating layer, the anode bag should be wrapped around the titanium basket. Because the bag is usually used for a long time without being removed, it is recommended to use the "double-layer bag" method.
7. The anode bag should be tightly wrapped with the titanium basket mouth, and a few centimeters of space should be left at the bottom of the bag to store possible anode sludge.
