Titanium copper composite rod is also called titanium clad copper

Titanium-copper composite rod, also known as titanium-clad copper, is a copper rod covered with a titanium layer of a certain thickness and is the main component of the metal anode. It combines the excellent electrical conductivity of copper and the excellent corrosion resistance of titanium. It is mainly used in electrolysis, electroplating, hydrometallurgy and metal anode electrolytic cells under strong corrosion conditions. On the one hand, it uses the intermediate material copper It is a high-quality electrode material due to its excellent electrical conductivity and the corrosion resistance of the coating material.

The composite rod produced by ZhenAn has a composite strength of 135Mpa and a tensile and shear strength of 180-260Mpa. It has good electrical conductivity and the microresistance of the composite rod is 7.77×10-6Ω, which can greatly reduce the pollution of electrolyte and plating solution and save energy consumption. Improve the environment and become energy-saving and environmentally friendly electrode materials. We can produce round, drum-shaped, square, flat and other composite rods of different specifications according to user requirements, and can also perform bending and assembly welding of different shapes.

Performance of titanium-copper composite rod: As the main component of the metal anode, titanium-copper composite rod has the following three functions:

1: Support the anode;

the titanium-copper composite rod has certain strength and bending resistance. The yield strength of the composite rod reaches 128MPa, which fully meets the production design requirements.

2: Excellent electrical conductivity;

using the explosion + rolling production process, the titanium and copper can be completely tightly combined without delamination, so it has good electrical conductivity. The composite strength reaches 135Mpa, and the microresistance is 7.77×10-6Ω.

3: Corrosion resistance.

The outer layer of the titanium-copper composite rod is in direct contact with the electrolytic medium. The pure titanium in the outer layer has excellent corrosion resistance (see table below), and its lifespan is more than 10 times longer than other material electrodes.
