Nickel plate uses:

Nickel plates are widely used in highways, railways, civil buildings, water conservancy and other construction; various machinery, electrical appliances, window protection and aquaculture, etc.

Use of nickel plate 1: Mainly used for cement batching in civil construction, protection of mechanical equipment, handicraft manufacturing, and high-end speaker grilles. Highway guardrails, sports venue fences, road green belt protective nets, stainless steel, electroplating, nickel-metal hydride batteries, etc.

Use of nickel plate 2: Heavy nickel plate is used for foot nets of oil tankers, working platforms, escalators and walkways of heavy machinery and boilers, oil mines, locomotives, 10,000-ton ships, etc. It can also be used as steel bars in the construction industry, highways and bridges.

The third use of nickel plate: it is widely used in making alloys. Adding nickel to steel can improve mechanical strength. For example, when the nickel content in steel increases from 2.94% to 7.04%, the tensile strength increases from 52.2 kg/mm2 to 72.8 kg/mm3.

Four uses of nickel plate: Nickel steel can be used to manufacture parts of machines that bear greater pressure, impact and reciprocating loads, such as turbine blades, crankshafts, connecting rods, etc.

Use of nickel plate five: Nickel steel containing 36% nickel and 0.3-0.5% carbon has a very small expansion coefficient and almost no thermal expansion and contraction. It is used to manufacture a variety of precision machinery, precise gauges, etc.

Use of nickel plate six: High-nickel steel containing 46% nickel and 0.15% carbon is called "platinum-like" because its expansion coefficient is similar to platinum and glass. This high-nickel steel can be welded into glass. It is very important in the production of light bulbs and can be used as a substitute for platinum wire. Some precision lens frames are also made of this platinum-like steel. The lenses will not fall out of the frame due to thermal expansion and contraction.

Use 7 of nickel plate: An alloy composed of 67.5%, 16% iron, 15% chromium, and 1.5% manganese has high resistance and is used to manufacture various varistors and electric heaters.

Use of nickel plate eight: Mainly used to make stainless steel and other corrosion-resistant alloys, such as nickel steel, nickel-chromium steel and various non-ferrous metal alloys. Copper-nickel alloys with higher nickel content are less likely to corrode. It is also used as a hydrogenation catalyst and used in ceramic products, special chemical vessels, electronic circuits, green glass, and the preparation of nickel compounds, etc.
